[edit]DescriptionBeta Theta Pi Fraternity House (Madison, Wisconsin).jpg |
The Beta Theta Pi fraternity house at 622 Mendota Court dates to 1925 and was built in Spanish Colonial / Mediterranean Revival style. It is a contributing structure in the Langdon Street Historic District. In 1873, Beta Theta Pi was the second fraternity to found a chapter at the University of Wisconsin, and it is the oldest fraternity housed within the historic district. Prior to building the house at 622 Mendota Court, Beta Theta Pi rented 614 Langdon Street as its chapter house starting in 1889. |
