Description
Deutsch: Residenz des schwedischen Botschafters in Berlin, Pücklerstraße 42-44, Berlin-Grunewald
English: Residence of the swedish Ambassador in Berlin, Puecklerstr. 42-44, Berlin-Grunewald, Germany. Sign says: "At the invitation of the Swedish consul general Sven Backlund, the ruling mayor of Berlin, Willy Brandt, and the Soviet ambassador to the GDR, Pyotr Abrassimov, met in this house for a first meeting on May 8, 1966. The encounter, which was followed by many other contacts between east and west in the Swedish residence, thus became the first important building block for a new Ostpolitik."
