English: The preserved southern part of Monbijoubrücke at Museum Island in Berlin-Mitte. The bridge was built by Ernst von Ihne from 1898 to 1904, at the same he built the adjacent Bodemuseum. The northern part of the bridge was destroyed in 1945. A replacement, similar to the original, was dedicated in 2006. The southern part has been designated as a historic landmark. |
