Description
Deutsch: Bergensbanen km 247 Breifoss 1944. Die Frontalkollision der beiden Züge in der Nähe des ehemaligen Haltepunkts „Breifoss“, wobei auch die Kesselwagen schwer beschädigt wurden. Treibstoff lief aus und entzündete sich, wodurch mehrere der hölzernen Personenwagen in Brand gerieten.
English: Bergensbanen km 247 Breifoss 1944. The head-on collision of the two trains near the former “Breifoss” stop, with the tank wagons also being badly damaged. Fuel leaked and ignited, causing several of the wooden passenger cars to catch fire.
Norsk bokmål: Bergensbanen km 247 Breifoss 1944. Frontkollisjonen mellom de to togene nær det tidligere stoppestedet Breifoss, hvor også tankvognene fikk store skader. Drivstoff lekket ut og antente, noe som førte til at flere av trepersonbilene tok fyr.
