Summary

Description
English: Ostap Bohoslavets, Senior Research Scientist at the Research Department of the Gorgany Nature Reserve, on the top of Mount Berezovachka (1484 m) among the stone runs (gregoty or tsekoty ) during a mycological expedition in October 2023. The summit and slopes of Mount Berezovachka are covered with the stone runs called gregoty – sandstone scatterings formed by the fracturing of sandstone. Stone fields, gregoty, have a major impact on the formation of the upper forest boundary and provide a habitat for many bryophytes and lichens.
