| Description |
English: Bend in the River Wye and bank protection The main part of the Weir Garden is behind this wall, built to prevent erosion on this sharp bend. Even so, the river often floods above the wall and there are several small springs seeping out of the hillside, which make it a little unstable. The National Trust has a programme of planting willows behind the wall to help bind the soil together. |
