English: Ben Halton. Just below the 621m summit of Ben Halton. Look carefully amongst the peat hags for the feral goats. Quite a family group with the billy seeing to his harem, literally and this year's kids jumping on and off the peat hags. The goats are left over from the sheiling days when they were farmed. Hardy beasts, they kid in the middle of winter. The distant view includes Comrie. |
