Bell-shaped stud - side
Description
English: Roman copper alloy bell-shaped stud. The stud had an iron shaft of square cross-section entering the circular rear of the stud. The front has a convex skirt with a central domed and conical projection, which is comparatively low, and did not extend much beyond the skirt. The stud and central cone have suffered some corrosion.
