Escandon, right, commander of the 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, answer questions concerning the significance of the collaborative training efforts between the New Hampshire Army National Guard and the active duty Army component at Grayling Airfield, Mich., July 13. During the brigade’s almost three-week annual training, they will conduct scenario-based exercises to include live-fire training, logistical operations and counter-improvised explosive device training, collaboratively known as eXportable Combat Training Capability.
