Description
English: Beggar's Bridge at Glaisdale Built in 1619 the bridge is now used only by walkers; cars cross by a metal bridge, while trains on the scenic Esk Valley line pass almost overhead on a viaduct. Within the space of a few yards, much of the transport history of the last few centuries is represented.
