English: A display of Mesolithic finds in Bedford Museum. Top Shelf (polished flint and chert axes):- 18 - from Great Barford, 20 - from Kempston, 19 - from Biggleswade, 21 - from Kimbolton Road, Bedford; Middle Shelf:- 33 - scrapers and other flake tools, 32 - arrowheads, 34 - pygmy flints; Bottom Shelf - 38 - limestone macehead, 37 - mullers or hammerstones, 36 - potboilers to heat cooking water.
