| Description |
English: Beck End Lock Old lock on the disused Caistor Canal. This canal was opened in 1800 but never reached its intended destination of Caistor, ending instead at Moortown about four miles away. Agricultural produce went downstream and coal lime and general merchandise upstream. The canal was not used after 1855, and officially abandoned in 1936. |
