Description |
English: Beads. Series of blue and black faience beads. The beads are a mis-match of a number of different types, shapes, and sizes, and probably their association is modern. There are 32 tubular beads, 22 ring beads, five spherical beads, four ring beads with serrated edges, two tubular double-barrel beads, three tubular segmented beads, and one djed amulet. Several tubular beads appear to be larger beads or objects broken into pieces, and one may be the lower part of a ushabti figure. One of the two long black tubular beads has accumulated faience on it during post-depositional processes. The double-barrel beads suggest they are from a more intricate design. |
