Summary
[edit]DescriptionBaxton Gill - geograph.org.uk - 1260877.jpg |
English: Baxton Gill The small stream of Baxton Gill flows through pasture until it reaches the small footbridge crossed by the footpath from West Holme House towards Cotherstone. At this point it enters the steep band of woodland on the north bank of the River Tees, dropping over a small waterfall on its steep descent to the river. The waterfall is formed by a bigger step in the bed, of the same type of rock as in the small steps in this view. |
