Description
English: Baxter Park, Dundee. The money for the purchase of the land and laying out of Baxter park came from the Baxter family who owned flax and jute mills in the city. Designed by Sir Joseph Paxton, the park was opened by Lord Russell, the Prime Minister, in 1863
