English: Battersea Bridge Battersea Bridge carries the A3220 road between Chelsea and Battersea over the River Thames. It was built between 1886 and 1890, replacing the earlier bridge of 1770, and with a width of just 40 feet it is London's narrowest road vehicle crossing of the river.
From a Geograph point of view the northern half of the bridge, over the crest in this photograph, is in grid square TQ2677. |
