Description
English: Rebecca Fountain, the statue of a girl in eastern dress pouring water on the northern side of Bath Abbey. On the base the inscription reads: "Water is best". It was erected in 1861 by the local temperance society
Nederlands: De Rebecca Fontein, een beeld van een jong meisje in oosterse kledij dat water uitgiet. Op de sokkel staat de inscriptie "Water is best". Het beeld werd opgericht door de 'Temperance society' (een vereniging die het misbruik van alcohol bestreed).
