Description

Pfarrkirche St. Martin und Rathaus, Bassenheim, August 2014

Der barocke Vorgängerbau der Kirche von 1722 wurde 1898 abgerissen, weil er für die Gemeinde zu klein geworden war. 1899 wurde an gleicher Stelle nach den Plänen des Architekten Lambert von Fisenne die heutige neuromanische Basilika errichtet.

Das Rathaus stammt aus dem Jahr 1784 (1912 erweitert).
