Deutsch: Schild der Stadt Basel mit einem Basilisken als Schildhalter, Holzschnitt des Meisters "DS", dav.; In allen Teilen ist der Holzschnitt mit dem gleichen Motiv als Titelvignette enthalten, in den Teilen 2-3 jedoch leicht anderes Motiv mit dem Kopf des Basilisken nach links zeigend. Diese sind auch von dem Meister "DS" monogr. u. 1511 dat.
Note: diese konkrete PNG wurde aufbereitet, freigestellt und heraldisch sinngemäß gespiegelt (der genaue Grund für die eigentliche „Spiegelverkehrtheit“ ist jedoch unbekannt, die zu damaliger Zeit nicht selten ist) English: Coats of arms of Basel with basilisk as supporter.
