Summary
[edit]DescriptionBasantotsav.jpg |
English: By the inspiration and influence of Rabindranath Tagore, "Basantotsav" started at Santiniketan in Bolpur District of West Bengal for celebrating the beauty of the spring with songs, dances and colours. Since then Basantotsav continued till now. In the today’s world, where human beings and nature are besieged by problems, threats and conflict, celebrations such as "Basantotsav" can bring the much needed message of equality, unity, unconditional love, happiness, compassion, universal friendship and enthusiasm. Here’s a moment of said utsav had captured by me in the Tagore’s ancestral house- Jorasanko Thakur Bari at Kolkata. |
