Description
English: Bartholomäus Ziegenbalg monument in Tranquebar, Tamil Nadu, South India. The monument and its location have been changed in the year of 2006. The bust of Ziegenbalg was gilded and treated without the screen on this new location: The statue stands in the courtyard in front of the entrance to the "TELC Higher Secondary School", which bears the name since 20 October 2012: "TELC Bishop Johnson Memorial Higher Secondary School ". The school building was rebuilt 1998th
Deutsch: Denkmal für Bartholomäus Ziegenbalg in Trankebar, Tamil Nadu, Südindien. Das Denkmal und sein Standort wurden im Jahr 2006 verändert. Die Büste von Bartholomäus Ziegenbalg wurde vergoldet und ohne den Schirm auf diesen neuen Standort versetzt: Die Statue steht im Schulhof vor dem Eingang zur "T.E.L.C. Higher Secondary School", die seit 20. Oktober 2012 den Namen trägt: "T.E.L.C. Bishop Johnson Memorial Higher Secondary School". Das Schulgebäude wurde 1998 neu errichtet.
