Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Barnbow Halt railway station (site), Yorkshire
Opened in 1915 by the North Eastern Railway on the line from Leeds to Selby and York, this station closed in 1924. View east towards Garforth, Selby and York. The Halt was principally used by munitions workers at the nearby Barnbow filling factory, out of view to the left. No trace apparently remains of the two parallel platforms here. Ramps led up to the bridge on which the photographer is standing.
