Description
English: It is a custom to swallow a bolus prepared by crushig the bark of paleta mara (Alstonia scholaris ) on the day of new moon in the Aati month of the tulu calendar in Tulunadu region. It cleans the digestive tracts systems and is said to have loads of medicinal power to fight diseases.
