Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Memetri atau Merti

Secara kata yang berasal dari Bahasa Jawa ( Kuno : Sansekerta) berarti memperingati, mengingat. Biasanya diadakan setiap setahun sekali sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur atas segala karunia Tuhan. Tiap daerah punya kebiasaan yang berbeda dalam merayakannya. Tetapi hampir sama yakni mengawalinya dengan doa bersama. Biasanya dibalai pertemuan yang telah ditentukan. Masing-masing keluarga membawa berkat/ambeng lalu dimakan bersama-sama selesai berdoa. Uniknya kalau saling bertukar isi ambeng. Gayeng! Selanjutnya macam-macam acara diadakan seperti ada pentas seni. Kadang diadakan kirab budaya. Bahkan ada pasar malam juga. Tergantung kesepakatan dan biaya yang dimiliki.
