Description
Nederlands: Omschrijving: Banier van zeelieden in 1 mei-optocht 1914, Amsterdam. Leuze bovenaan: "De zeelieden zijn niet opgenomen in de ongevallenwet". Daaronder drie afbeeldingen met onderschrift. Resp: een aan de bedelstaf geraakte zeeman ("Armoede"), een achtergebleven zeemansweduwe met kind in de wieg ("Smart") en een zinkende oceaanstomer die op de Titanic lijkt ("Risico van den arbeid"). Amsterdam, Nederland 1 mei 1914.
English: Banner of seamen in Labour Day march, May 1, 1914 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Slogan on top: 'Industrial Injuries do not include seamen'. Underneath three pictures with caption.
