Description
English: Sponsored park bench in Praça Conselheiro Antonio Prado, Pirassununga, Brazil. The sponsor was the Lord Palace Hotel, from São Paulo city (Rua das Palmeiras, 78, Vila Buarque). The hotel was inaugurated in 1954 and closed in 2004. The building was taken by the City Hall to cover debts, and in 2012 it became home for 368 families of homeless people. The advertisement reads: "In São Paulo / Lord Hotel / Your home away from home / Telegraphic address: LORDHOTEL"
Português: Banco de praça na Praça Conselheiro Antonio Prado, Pirassununga, Brasil, patrocinado pelo Lord Palace Hotel (Rua das Palmeiras, 78, Vila Buarque, São Paulo). Este hotel foi inaugurado em 1954 e funcionou até 2004. A prefeitura tomou posse do prédio para saldar dívidas, e em 2012 ele se tornou moradia para 368 famílias sem-teto. A propaganda diz: "Em São Paulo / Lord Hotel / A sua casa fora de casa / Endereço telegráfico: LORDHOTEL"
