[edit]DescriptionBalornock (St Rollox) Locomotive Depot geograph-2721222-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg |
English: One of the few 'Black 5s' given names, seen at St Rollox (Balornock) Locomotive Depot. Out in the yard beside another 'Black 5' is No. 5154 'Lanarkshire Yeomanry' still in LMS livery (built 1935, named 1937, withdrawn 11/66). It was one of only five of the Class of 842 locomotive given a name by the LMS or BR: six others have been named in preservation, however. |
