Water lettuce (Pistia stratiotes) is an invasive weed found in many areas of the southern United States. Pathogen: The symptoms here are associated with Xanthomonas campestris, but proof of pathogenicity (Koch's Postulates) have yet to be performed. If proven, this would be the first report of this disease globally. Location: Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii
