[edit]DescriptionBack on the ferry from Miyajima island to Hiroshima (49494967528).jpg | Back on the ferry from Miyajima island to Miyajima- Guchi, from where I will take a train to Hiroshima station. Quile unlike my inward journey, when the ferry was half empty, the boat is packed on my return journey. I have come to Miyajima island to see the UNESCO World Heritage listed Itsukushima shrine, which supposedly looks magical at high tide when parts of the shrine are partly submerged- especially the torii gate just next to it. Sadly I had a train to catch back to Osaka and I didn't have the luxury of time, so I had to satisfy myself at seeing the temple and low tide and then get back to Hiroshima station in time to catch my Shinkansen bullet train to Osaka.
