English: Babby Duthie's Rock, Ravenscraig.. Local legend has it that a young maiden, Barbara (Babby) Duthie, sat on the top of this rock on the bank of the River Ugie for several days and nights weeping for her former lover, a soldier at Ravenscraig Castle 481419 on the opposite bank, who had left her for another and she finally cast herself into the deep pool at the base of the rock and was drowned.
