Registro em P&P da Baía do Sueste, local preferido dos turistas para a prática do snorkeling, pois lá existe uma inúmera quantidade de tartarugas que frequentam o local para se alimentar, acasalar e desovar, tornando o local um dos principais ponto de atividades do Projeto TAMAR que realiza visitas periódicas ao local para a captura e e registro de tartarugas, projeto que já salvou milhares dessas espécies ameaçadas de extinção. Porém é possível observar várias outras espécies de animais marinhos, como tubarões e inúmeras espécies de peixes. Da praia também é possível ter um visão das ilhas que se localizam a vários metros da costa e compõem a paisagem; são elas, a ilha Cabeluda e a ilha Chapéu do Sueste.É no Sueste que acaba a menor estrada federal do Brasil, a BR-363 que possui apenas 7 quilômetros e cruza toda a ilha tendo como o outro ponto final a praia do Porto.
