English:

An incomplete cast copper alloy medieval single single loop D shape buckle, dating to AD1250 - 1400. It is missing the pin and there is no buckle plate. There are moulded knops at the ends of the narrowed strap bar. The hoop has a significantly expanded outer edge (8.70mm in width) and is a narrow D shape in section. The strap bar is rectangular in section .

It is 29.05mm in length, 20.15mm in width (strap bar to outer edge of hoop) and weighs 4.28g.
