Nederlands: Foto uit de collectie Huizinga van het NIOD. Een uitzinnige menigte begroet te Den Haag de binnenrijdende voertuigen van de Canadese militairen en later van de Prinses Irene-brigade, in het begin van de avond op 8 mei 1945. Menno Huizinga was onderdeel van de Ondergedoken Camera en maakte illegaal foto’s tijdens de bezetting. Dit deed hij hoofdzakelijk in zijn woonplaats Den Haag. |
