Azure Kingfisher, Ceyx azureus +=========================+ I lucked out on finding a copy of this series, when I was swapping in some old backup drives. Taken nearly 10 years ago. Check it out. D90. The camera, lens and tripod are on an open space near the water's edge. I'm in the car, about 30m back with a radiocontrolled release. The pair of birds were feeding young just across the creek, and would almost always land on this rock, adjust the fish, and then take off. Add sunshine, a fine 500mm f/4 lens, and fill a memory card. |
