Title
Awl
Description
English: A complete copper-alloy tracer/awl measuring 49mm in length and 4mm in maximum thickness. It is slightly bent. It has relatively uneven surfaces, partly due to corrosion but also as it was probably never finished to a high standard. The shorter pointed half has a circular cross-section and the longer 'tracer' half has a sub-square cross-section with a rounded chisel-end. This awl is Bronze Age in date.
