Description
English: Flint awl, triangular in plan and plano convex in profile. The dorsal side has a convex surface with retouch on the distal tip. The right margin is serrated and the proximal end comprised of cortex. The ventral side surface is flat with a slight curve. There is also retouch scarring.

The flint is mottled grey brown with putty coloured inclusions and a cream toned secondary cortex.

Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 57, Fig. 5.28, No. L. 132 which is dated to the Neolithic period.
