Description
English: c/n 1396.

Built 1949 and served with No.1 Reserve Flying School, Durham University Air Squadron and finally with the Civilian Fighter Control and Co-operation Unit (CFCCU). She was withdrawn from use in 1961 and stored at Church Fenton before being sold as scrap. Her first use was in a children’s playground, something which would probably give the Health & Safety people kittens if it happened in the UK today!! She then passed through a number of other homes before settling with the museum here in June 1993. She is now under long-term restoration. Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington, North Yorkshire, UK.
