Description
English: Avenida Oriental (Eastern Avenue), near the corner with La Playa Boulevard, Medellín downtown. Aspect of the pyramids created by Major Fajardo to prevent irregular cross passing by pedestrians. The work got heavy critics, but it reduced accidents in the Avenue.
Aspecto de las "piramides de la Avenida Oriental" creadas por el alcalde Fajardo para evitar el cruce irregular de peatones. La obra recibió muchas críticas, pero redujo considerablemente la muerte de peatones por atropellos en la Avenida. Cerca del cruce con la Avenida La Playa, centro de Medellín, Colombia.
