English: Karnataka Style Avarekaalu Rotti served with chutney powder ,Mavinakayi gojju (raw mango curry)
Rice flour,1 cup Avarekalu finely chopped Onion , chopped Green Chillies , Cumin powder (Jeera),chopped coriander (Dhania) Leaves , pinch Asafoetida (hing)Salt , to taste Water , to knead dough,Served with chutney powder :red chilies , chana dal, urad dal, curry leaves, dry coconut ,pinch of asafoetida,small sized tamarind ,3 tsp cooking oil,Salt as per taste. Raw-mango curry /Mavinakayi gojju : Raw mango, fresh coconut,salt as per taste,chopped coriander leaves,1 cups of water jaggery( jaggery depending as per the sourness of the raw mango) For curry masala: oil, red chillies,chana dal,urad dal,cumin seeds,fenugreek seeds,coriander seeds, sesame seeds, mustard seeds, curry leave seeds , sesame seeds seasoning: oil, pinch Asafoetida (hing), red chili, mustard seeds, urad dal , turmeric powder, curry leaves |
