Ernest Hébert (Grenoble, 1817-La Tronche, 1908), Autoportrait à la cravate rouge, 1870, huile sur toile, Don de l'artiste en 1870. Exposition universelle de Paris (1890). En 1867 Hébert est sollicité par la Galerie des Offices à Florence pour réaliser son autoportrait. La ville de Grenoble demande à Hébert d'exécuter une réplique du même tableau pour la ville. Informations tirées de la plaquette de l'Exposition temporaire "Grenoble et ses artistes au XIXe siècle" au Musée de Grenoble.
