Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Shown is an Australian external "Weather Resistant" dual socket-outlet.

It is both dust and water resistant and designed to resist Australia's harsh sun and cold with temperature range between +75 °C. to -25 °C

Note that no additional external cover is required for this device, since the switches (which are required by Australian standards) are water resistant up to IP66 (Dust Tight - resists Powerful Water Jets) and the angle at which the socket-outlets are placed limits the possible ingress of water up to at least IP53. (Dust Protected - resists Spraying Water)
