Description The DVLA database records that this vehicle was first registered 18 July 1939.
Googling reveals that this was the last of the coachbuilt taxi designs, succeeding the LL and known to cabbies as the "Flash Lot" on account of its streamlined styling, but not built in great numbers because of the outbreak of war:
