Deutsch: Der Austernfischer (Haematopus ostralegus) ist eine Vogelart aus der Ordnung der Wat-, Möwen- und Alkenvögel (Charadriiformes) und der Gattung der Austernfischer. Er gilt als einer der charakteristischsten Vögel der Nordseeküste.
Seine größte Verbreitung in Europa hat er im Wattenmeer und dem küstennahen Binnenland der Nordsee, wo er auch die scherzhafte Bezeichnung Halligstorch trägt. |
