Description
Deutsch: Reiter im Wald. Aquarell, Tusche und Kohle. Verso von Elisabeth Erdmann-Macke betitelt. Auf festem Aquarellpapier. 24,7 x 33,7 cm , blattgroß.

Es handelt sich bei diesem Werk wohl um die Nachlasslistennummer A 45. Im Werkverzeichnis von Dr. Ursula Heiderich sind die Nachlasslistennummern für WVZ-Nr. 336 und 337 sowie einzelne Provenienz- und Ausstellungsangaben vertauscht. Die Nachlasslistennummer FT 41, die fälschlicherweise unserer WVZ-Nr. 336 zugewiesen wurde, befindet sich jedoch vermutlich bis 1937 bei der Galerie von der Heyde, Berlin, und gelangt später in die Sammlung des Kupferstichkabinetts der Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin.

  • Sammlung Heinrich Stinnes (1867-1932), Köln (1918 erworben, Ausstellung "Junges Rheinland", Kunstverein Köln).

  • Privatsammlung Düsseldorf (1974 vom Vorgenannten erworben: Ketterer).
  • Galerie Beck & Eggeling International Fine Art, Düsseldorf (2007 erworben).
  • Privatsammlung Süddeutschland (vom Vorgenannten erworben).
  • Seitdem in Familienbesitz.
