Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Created by DMacks from en:Image:Orbitals table.png using Gimp. That file, a single image containing all orbitals, was uploaded as GFDL with a Summary:
I made this table using OpenOffice.org writer, GIMP and a freeware program called "Orbital Viewer" from http://www.orbitals.com/orb/ov.htm
It shows all orbital configurations - depending on values of n,l,m. May become more useful if someone would rewrite this image into a real wiki table. That will require copying each orbital image into a separate picture for each wiki cell. I dunno if that's a good idea.

This chemistry image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “AtomicOrbital n2 l1.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
