Description

El atelier de Pedro Grapiúna se encuentra en el barrio de Santa Teresa, en Río de Janeiro, frente a la vía del "bondinho", pequeño tren que una el barrio de Lapa con el de Santa Teresa.

Nacido en en sur de Bahía y crecido en una vida carente de cultura y sin combustible para su curiosidad innata, el joven Pedro Alves Luz emprendió camino hacia Río y se convirtió en el formidable artista Pedro Grapiúna.

Anteriormente actor, escenógrafo y pintor surrealista, ahora dedica su tiempo a su taller de esculturas de metal reciclado.

Pedro tiene de todo un poco: desde piezas de bicicletas y coches hasta figuras femeninas que hacen referencia a la vida sencilla y rústica del artista.
