| Description |
English: At the mouth of Freshes Creek Looking north across Blakeney Harbour to the sand dunes on Blakeney Point. Much of the Point is kept as a bird reserve (and a seal colony haul-out, see TF9845), but can be accessed by boat trips from Morston Quay, or by a 3 to 4 mile walk along the shingle spit from the car park at Cley Eye. From 2009, an experimental dog ban is in place for much of that walk, in the hope of allowing the ground-nesting species a better chance of raising their broods without excessive disturbance. |
