| Description |
English: At the lower end of the woods. This photo was taken in a clearing near the south-western end of a narrow strip of woodland, looking down towards the nearby farms (for a view in the opposite direction, taken from a little way uphill, see: 1283348).
The buildings visible in the distance make up Cairniedrouth Farm; Asker Farm is much closer, but is out of shot (to the left). A fence and stream ( https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1281891 ) run from the edge of the woods towards the clump of trees in front of Cairniedrouth Farm. The River Clyde is visible in the background, with Greenock and surrounding areas on the far shore. |
