According to professional expert Charles Stirton, this is a spreading, diffuse, much-branched shrub to 30 cm high and up to 1 m long. Young shoots are reddish, sparsely short pubescent. Leaflets glabrous, green, subulate-acicular, yellow-tipped. Standard front and wings golden yellow, keel densely hairy, tip beaked. Back of standard hairy with a purple mid-rib. Calyx purplish. Sandy soil. Voucher specimen Stirton 13969 (with Bello, Bures, Smrda, & Pavel).
