Français : Exemplaire de la collection de minéraux artificiels du Musée d’histoire naturelle de LIlle : crystal of sulfate de cuivre, d’origine industrielle, créé par cristallisation lente dans une solution saturée. Ce minéral synthétique est formé de cations cuivre(II) (Cu2+) et d’anions sulfate (SO42- ), ici sous forme « pentahydraté »). Sa formule chimique est CuSO4,5H2O. Il a blanchi avec le temps.
English: Sample of the collection of artificial minerals from the Natural History Museum Lille: crystal copper sulphate of industrial origin, created by slow crystallization from a saturated solution. This synthetic mineral is formed of copper (II) cations (Cu2 +) and sulfate anions (SO42-), here in the form "pentahydrate"). Its chemical formula is CuSO4,5H2O. He laundered over time.
